Amber-remixedDec 05, 2000
By Erica Anderson I'll just come out and start with the one and only flaw about this album. The songs are all edits. I think to really enjoy all these remixes they should have been the full-length versions. Luckily I have the import version of Amber's collaboration with Ultra Nate and Jocelyn Enriquez on "If You Could Read My Mind", so no big loss for me on the edited version on the cd. I love the remixes of "Love One Another" which is my very song off her second studio album. I wish they were longer than 3-4 minutes though. "Colour of Love" and "Above the Clouds" remixes are also great. I'm glad that Amber put out a remix album. Her songs deserved the remix treatment, and they all sound just as good and/or better remixed.

A Remix Album That Actually WorksApr 23, 2002
By The Groove Lets face it: the remix ablum is a concept many record labels abuse. Instead of coming up with interesting re-interpretations of prior hits, most modern remix albums are really shamless attempts to sucker the listener to purchase re-heated singles. This dynamite remix album from Amber, however, is the exception to that rule. The popular Thunderpuss remix of "Sexual" doesn't surface here, but there are other standouts that make this a worthy purchase. "Love One Another" (which Cher would later record), "Above the Clouds," and "Taste the Tears" all get radically re-vamped and are strong enough to spark up any dancefloor. If you have reservations about the remix album, then this CD will definitely change your mind. Highly recommended.

Amber Does It Again!Jan 31, 2001
By Alicia Weisgerber This album is great! Amber just can't seem to lose with her amazing voice and awesome blend of pop, R&B, and dance music. I was skeptical of thei album at first because i honestly wasn't sure if it could follow her second album "Amber". "Amber" was such an amazing CD that I didn't think she could top herself with the next album, but I was wrong. "The Hits Remixed" is basically her biggest singles remixed and revamped. The original versions of these songs were great but these remixes do those songs justice. There are two remixes of "Love One Another", "If You Could Read My Mind", "Sexual (Li Da Di)", and her first hit "This Is Your Night"; One remix of "The Colour Of Love" and "One More Night"; and the original version and remix to the newest track on the album "Taste The Tears". The only problem I have with this album is that they didn't include "Do That To Me One More Time" which would ;have made the album perfect. All in all this is a great album and should be picked up by any fan of Ambers.

Amber- The Hits RemixedDec 02, 2000
Amber- The Hits Remixed Hey! Don't listen to any of the other people that wrote reviews! This CD is one of the best I've gotten in a while. I admit, I hesitated to buy it when i saw that all the songs except one (Junior Vasquez's Remix of This Is You Night) were edited, even though im a fan of Amber. Don't hesitate! This CD features rare remixes of Sexual and Ambers new song Taste The Tears (also available on the Sex In The City Soundtrack). Even though the Thunderpuss remix of Sexual isn't featured, it's on her album Amber. So don't buy the imports! You have the best remixes right here!
