4STRONG SOLID COMEBACK DANCE/POP ALBUM FROM JLOMay 03, 2011
By PourHomme80
JLO's new album "Love" has been in the making for quite some time. Remember last year when she tried releasing promo single "Fresh out the Oven" or the widely panned "Louboutins" as the first single with a premiere performance at the 2009 AMA's where she took that infamous tumble. She took a step back and saw that this mid-tempo r&b/pop-hop sound wasn't working for her like it used to and turned her sights on dance/pop hit-maker RedOne (of Lady Gaga fame) to give us club banger, dance-pop hit "On The Floor" which zoomed up the charts all over the world and became her first Top 5 in the US in almost a decade. Not only did she hit up Gaga's producer, JLO went straight to the source and gets assistance from Lady Gaga herself, who gets writing/production credits on two tracks on the album.

After listening to the album, I can clearly divide it into three musical genres.
Quite honestly, the R&B/Pop-Hop section sounds most dated and reminds me most of old-school J-LO tracks from the early 2000's. Good Hit and I'm Into You are the standout tracks from this genre.
The Dance/Pop section is the freshest and contains some serious gems, ie: Villains and Hypnotics along with first single On The Floor are standouts.
The Pure Pop section contains the title track, Love, which is a great HOT AC track. Except for the weak, Everybody's Girl, these are some great modern pop tracks and JLO hasn't sounded better.

Dance/Pop
1 - On The Floor
2 - Papi
3 - Invading My Mind - Co-Produced and Co-written by RedOne and Lady Gaga.
4 - Villains - This is a smoking hot track, in the vein of Jump Smokers meets - Cheryl Cole's "Fight For This Love"
5 - Hypnotico - Send this to RADIO ASAP - Should fit in perfectly in between a Ke$ha and Britney track. Another RedOne/Lady Gaga production.
6 - Charge Me Up

R&B/Pop-Hop
1 - Good Hit - Very Hot Beat - Standard R&B formula with label lyrics and all. Produced by Tricky & The Dream.
2 - I'm Into You feat. Lil Wayne - 2nd Single - This is JLO's "Rude Boy" produced by Stargate
3 - Run The World - Filler track produced by Tricky & The Dream
4 - One Love - Filler track from Danja who actually produced a total of 4 tracks with JLO. Only 2 made the final cut.
5 - Take Care - This bonus track is catchier than some of the fillers in this section. Produced by Tricky Stewart.

Pure Pop
1 - (What is) Love? - Written by Wynter Gordon
2 - Until It Beats No More
3 - Starting Over - Produced by Danja
4 - Everybody's Girl

5Love!!!May 03, 2011
By Ben
Jennifer Lopez really knows where her strong points lie and it shows with this carefully selected songs for Love?. Critics may hate it(oh let them be!) but you can't deny the irrestible dance-oriented numbers. I love all her songs but my most favorite is "Until It Beats No More". One thing that puzzles me is where are the magnificent "Louboutins" and "Fresh Out The Oven"? I wish she would included these as well. A great perk-me-ups of an album!

5Love? Jennifer's new album 'Love?' Yes, yes I do.May 03, 2011
By Michael N.
This album is her best work to date. Every song is catchy and fun. The standard version comes with 1 bonus track, the deluxe edition, which I suggest getting, comes with 5 bonus tracks. Get the deluxe edition, it's worth it. Sony Records/Epic Records is stupid for parting ways with the pop queen.

5Love without any question marks!Jun 28, 2011
By Alex D.
Jenny's sixth english studio album includes some of her best material yet. The problem though is that people had already heard a great proportion of the album due to it being delayed and songs (Mainly unfinished) leaking but anyway it's still a great romp of a listen:

On The Floor - 10/10 - A fantastic comeback single which is unique, sassy and a floorfiller - summer smash

Good Hit - 9/10 - Though the chorus is a little annoying this again is a sexy and confident jam with good lyrics

I'm Into You - 10/10 - Summer in a song - this is brill with a memorable hook and gorgeous lyrics and a sexy video!!

(What Is) Love? - 10/10 - A great track from her film 'the back up plan' with fantastic verses and a mega chorus

Run The World - 6/10 - This song starts of brilliantly but the chorus is a letdown - it could have been much better

Papi - 10/10 - The next single which is a guaranteed hit with latino influences and a fierce beat with a fab chorus

Until It Beats No More - 10/10 - A sensation ballad which shows off her vocal range and should be a christmas single

One Love - 8/10 - A song talking about her many relationships which is catchy and a good reflective tune

Invading My Mind - 9/10 - A fab track but Gaga's influence is clear as it's not Jennifer's norm but still great

Villain - 7/10 - Perhaps the weakest album track with nothing too memorable - the chorus though is very good

Starting Over - 10/10 - This song is so unique and catchy yet is inspirational and deserves to be a single

Hypnotico - 10/10 - This song is pure fire and is addictive. This could be a future hit

Everybody's Girl - 9/10 - A great song but the demo was better as it was faster but still a great little tune

Charge Me Up - 10/10 - Absolute fire that should be on the standard as Jen is fierce, confident and really lets rip

Take Care - 6/10 - A weak song that could have been sung by anyone and that gets annoying after a few listens

Overall, Jen's back with her best album yet and in relation to the title 'Love?' all i can say is that if you buy this album you will love it!!!

J.Lo used to be a Hip-Hop/R&B/Pop artist, but from the looks of this latest album she as followed the likes of Beyonce, Usher, and Rihanna and converted to Full Blown Pop.... Ughh, Oh Well i guess whatever the teen girls will go far throw it out there, No Substance, it should not be called Love?

Only songs i Did Like were

Good Hit
Run The World
One Love
Take Care
